May 25, 2018: REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: WIOA NAPA YOUTH PROGRAM OPERATOR

The Workforce Alliance of the North Bay seeks proposals from experienced organizations interested in providing workforce-related services and support to youth in Napa County. All programs must be responsive to Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) regulations, local labor market demands, local standardized system policies, and operational directives. Successful programs will drive measurable outcomes, provide a quality customer experience, and operate with maximum cost efficiency and effectiveness.

PAST PROPOSAL: REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: WORKFORCE ALLIANCE BUSINESS ENGAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE

The Workforce Alliance of the North Bay(WANB) is requesting proposals from qualified applicants to provide a business engagement representative that will provide services throughout the WANB region with a focus on an assigned geographic area of the region. The Business Engagement Representative (BER), being procured by this Request for Proposal (RFP) will be the key point of contact between the business community and the workforce development system in one or more of the counties located in the region.

PAST PROPOSAL: REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: WORKFORCE ALLIANCE OF THE NORTH BAY INNOVATION FUND
The purpose of the Innovation Fund is to support system-wide solutions which will lead to greater economic vitality for the residents and businesses in the four county Alliance region of Lake, Marin, Mendocino, and Napa counties.  Successful applicants will design, develop, or prototype new tools, methods and strategies to create unique services tailored to the needs of customers. 

Each project must identify a challenge or gap that if successfully addressed, would significantly “move the needle” on employment and/or business productivity.  The project should address a challenge that the workforce system is facing in increasing opportunity, effectiveness, and/or scale in addressing the training, placement, or advancement of career seekers and/or the advancement of key industry sectors in terms of business expansion or layoff aversion. Some projects may be tailored to meet the needs of more than one group, or more than one aspect of the workforce pipeline.
Grant Amounts: $5,000 to $50,000
